What are the facts about Global Warming and Pollution?
Scientists contend that we cannot significantly control the warming of the Earth to much of a degree, but by not taking a proactive approach, wouldn't we be making it significantly worse? What about our air and water quality?
Over the last 30 years, our Earth has warmed up significantly having the hottest decade ever in the 1990's. As of 2/2005 over 143,781,202 passenger vehicles are on the road in the United States alone. That number may nearly double by 2030 due to population growth. That number can is completely relative to the amount of pollutants that we put into the atmosphere if the only other changed factor is population growth. If nothing else, we must begin to live a little more greener than we are today?

Looking at the CO2 graph above, you can see a steeper incline from the beginning of the industrial revolution, major amazonian deforestation and farm land conversions, and now the major industrialzation and growth of developing countries. But then again, perhaps there is no direct correlation maybe its just a cycle, but that does not mean we should that we should drive gas hoggers or produce energy from coal especially when are more suited alternatives currently available.
No one wants to have cities that filled with smog, co2 alert days, polluted underground streams, or ruined eco-systems. Whether your interest is to combat global warming and pollution or simplly to be more efficient, it will pay in ten-fold to be more conscious of the environment; you will have a clear conscious in knowing that you did all you could for your childrens sake.
